QuizBoss for Education ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Service at quizboss.io.

We collect the following information when you use QuizBoss: • Account information: Your name, email address, role (teacher, tutor, etc.), and password (encrypted) • Usage data: Number of quizzes generated, quiz topics, and audience types selected • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and general device information for security purposes • Referral source: How you found QuizBoss (e.g., conference, direct, partner link)

QuizBoss is built with educator privacy in mind. We do not collect: • Any student information, names, responses, or data • Payment card details (handled entirely by Stripe) • Precise location data • Biometric data of any kind • Data from minors under 13

We use your information to: • Provide and improve the QuizBoss Service • Send transactional emails (account notifications, quota updates) • Track and enforce quiz generation limits • Respond to support requests • Analyze aggregate usage trends to improve the product We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by DigitalOcean in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption for passwords and secure HTTPS connections for all data transmission. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.

QuizBoss uses the following third-party services: • Anthropic Claude API — powers quiz generation (your quiz topics are sent to Anthropic for processing; see Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy) • Stripe — processes payments (we never see or store your card details) • Resend — delivers transactional emails • DigitalOcean — hosts our servers Each provider has their own privacy policy governing their data practices.

QuizBoss is designed to be FERPA-friendly. We do not collect, store, or process any student education records. Educators use our Service to generate quiz content only — no student data ever enters our system.

You have the right to: • Access the personal information we hold about you • Request correction of inaccurate information • Request deletion of your account and associated data • Opt out of non-essential communications To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@quizboss.io.

QuizBoss uses only essential session-based storage (localStorage) to maintain your login state. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

QuizBoss is intended for use by educators and adult learners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at hello@quizboss.io.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our website. The date of the most recent revision appears at the top of this page.
